Daily Report, Nov 6: India Make Qualification Scenario Interesting at T20 World Cup 2021

3 mins read

Team India’s mantra has been simple ever since that loss to New Zealand last week – be fearless, be bold. Playing that way has now done their net run-rate (NRR) a world of good with one match to go. Yes, it still all depends on whether Afghanistan can beat New Zealand, but NRR is now pretty much out of the picture.

On Friday, India made light work of Scotland from ball 1. Chasing down a target of 86 in 6.3 overs meant that India’s NRR is now the best of the group.

On Saturday, the semi-finalists from group 1 will be decided with 2 big matches coming up!

STOX IN FOCUS
